John Probyn
John Probyn (died 1843) was an Anglican priest in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.〔"Alumni oxonienses the members of the University of Oxford, 1715-1886; their parentage, birthplace and year of birth, with a record of their degrees. Probyn was born at Newland, Gloucestershire and educated at Christ Church, Oxford. He held incumbencies at Abenhall and Matherne. He was Dean〔(Sterry World )〕 and Archdeacon〔(Lincs to the Past )〕 of Llandaff from 1796〔(National Archives )〕 to his death on 4 October 1843.〔MISCELLANEOUS Bradford Observer (Bradford, England), Thursday, October 19, 1843; pg. 3; Issue 502〕
